Saroj Bala delivered an invited lecture entitled ‘Ramayan Retold with Scientific Evidence’ which was organized by Vedant Bharat, Lucknow for faculty and students of Medical Institutes. She explained the methodology adopted by her for determining the exact dates of events narrated in Valmiki Ramayan. All astronomical references were extracted sequentially from Ramayan. The corresponding sky views were generated using Planetarium and Stellarium soft wares. On 30th November 2019, Ms. Sutapa Basu, on behalf of Times of India, discussed the contents of the book ‘Ramayan Retold with Scientific Evidence’ with the author Mrs. Saroj Bala in the opening session of Times Litfest. The talk was extremely interesting as well as engaging and the audience was supporting as well as cheering the author repeatedly.

narrates the biography of Lord Ram with exact dates of important events,
depicting corresponding sky views of astronomical references in Ramayan and
weaving other supporting scientific evidence into the story told by Maharshi

The book provides credible and scientific answers
to the questions - whether Shri Ram was actually born in Ayodhya? Whether he

In October 2018, while talking to News NCR YouTube Channel, Smt. Saroj Bala explained that Shri Ram was a great historical character, who established the unparalleled standards in all spheres of life. He was an ideal son, an ideal husband, an ideal brother, an ideal king...… Maharshi Valmiki has described the positions of planets vis-à-vis Nakshatras at the time of important events in the life of Lord Ram.
Using planetarium soft wares, exact dates of these astronomical references can be determined; and these cannot be repeated in preceding or succeeding 25920 years! The planetary positions described at the time of Shri Ram’s birth are shown in the sky by all planetarium soft wares on Chaitra Shukla Navami at noontime in 5114 BCE. That is the date and time when we all celebrate Ram Navami till date!

श्रीमती सरोज बाला ने आगे बताया कि सरस्वती नदी लगभग 9000 वर्ष पूर्व सम्पूर्ण महिमा में बहने वाली एक महान नदी थी। ऋग्वेद में इसका वर्णन अंबितमे, देवीतमे और नदितमे के रूप में किया गया है और यह हिमालय से समुद्र की ओर बहा करती थी । ऋग्वेद में ग्रहों के संदर्भों की खगोलीय तिथियां इन्हें 7000 वर्ष ईसा पूर्व से संबंधित करती हैं।

Scientific Dating of Ancient Events before 2000 BCE in VIF-

On 29th June 2012, Smt. Saroj Bala delivered an invited talk on the Scientific Determination of dates of ancient events before 2000 BC. After taking into account scientific research carried out in association with eminent scientists from eight disciplines of science, she concluded that indigenous civilization has been developing in Indian subcontinent for the last 10,000 years. The so-called Aryan Invasion theory is a pure myth, which is not supported by any credible evidence. Aryans have been originals of India and there has been a cultural continuity for last more than 10000 years. She explained that Vedas are the world's most ancient compilation of knowledge of various subjects including Astronomy, Physics, Chemistry, Metallurgy, Medicine, and Botany etc., whereas the Epics reflect the history, geography and life styles of ancient Indian dynasties, populations and tribes.

Entire ancient history, revealed through Vedas and Epics, is capable of being re-constructed scientifically with accuracy by making use of modern scientific tools and technologies, which include planetarium soft wares. The astronomical references of Rigveda could be observed in the sky between 7000 BCE and 6000 BCE, whereas those of Ramayan could be observed sequentially around 5100 BCE.
